Useful phrases for writing essays

Not only that I have to complete writing essay for assessment but also that I've been studying to prepare for IELTS, therefore I'd like to collect useful phrases all together. I will also add another each time when I find from now.

Task 7 - London visit

I have been to Upper street, Oxford street, Leicester Square, Tottenham Court Road and Piccadilly Circus to go shopping. However, in fact I didn't like to go around except Upper street because there were crowded and I couldn't walk toward where I want to go. However, I really like the atmosphere in Upper street which has wicked shops and restaurants. I have planning to go there again.

Task 7 - London visit

On 21st November, I went to Alexandra Palace to see concert which was played by Sigur Ros.

The venue was near from Wood Green and well-known as having skate rink and the band, which was, from Iceland, getting famous here recently.
First of all, all tickets were sold out so that there were so many people there. In addition, I met one of class mate and his friends. I really enjoyed both seeing concert and meeting many people there.

Task 5 - Speaking practice

Yesterday, I’ve began to move to new flat and I was gotten one of friend and her friend English man.
After we carried many luggages to my new room, we went to a pub and had conversations each other. We talked about pronounce of English which has many different way in each areas and he explain them in detail.
In addition, we talked about club culture here. I told them my favourite place to go to club was
in Bethnal Green and he told us he likes to go to Camden for it.

I think it was first time to converse with native people here.

Task 15 - Vocabulary building and teaching

I learned on website colled "i know" again. It is helpful to take in vocabularies that I haven't got.
It makes not only our vocabularies but also colocation more numerous in our brain. I totally recommend to try this because it is all free.
